When the 1993 film Tombstone hit the  silver screen, it became an instant classic and developed a large fan base.  Many people now have their own copy of the movie, have watched it at least 20 to 30 times and can recite the main lines of the movie. I call them (and this includes me), "Tombstone Junkies." If you are a "Tombstone Junkie," I know you'll enjoy this Ballad of the OK Corral that I wrote and recorded. The song came to me one night while watching the movie (yes, for about the 20th time).  Many friends of mine absolutely love it & told me to record it so others could enjoy it.  I took their advice and have made it available for all "Tombstone Junkies."  The timing couldn't be better - releasing this CD during 2013, the 20th anniversary of the film's screening.  A special thanks to Marvin Dykhuis who produced & accompanied me & encouraged me to proceed, Richard Bowden who's encouragement & fiddle playing helped put the finishing touch to the song, my many friends who encouraged me, and a special thanks to Steve & Marcie Shaw (www.Great-American-Adventures.com) for the photography that was taken while I was participating in their annual Wyatt Earp's Vendetta Ride in Tombstone, AZ, a five-day ride that allows us "Tombstone Junkies" to go back in time and re-live the OK Corral gunfight, the Earp/Holliday/ Cowboy feud and the 1880's era.
